2. Information we collect
Depending on how you deal with us, we may collect:

- Booking details: the treatments, dates and times you book, and any notes you give us.
- Health information relevant to your treatment, such as injuries, medical conditions, medications, allergies, or pregnancy, which you provide before or during a session.

3. How we collect it
We collect information directly from you when you book online through our booking platform (Fresha), call or message us, complete a health or consent form, buy an e-voucher, subscribe to our newsletter, or visit the clinic. We also collect limited technical data automatically when you use our website.
4. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- make, confirm, change and remind you of appointments;
- provide safe, appropriate treatment and keep treatment records;
- process payments, gift vouchers and refunds;
- respond to your questions and requests;
- send newsletters and offers, only where you have opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time);
- improve our services and website; and
- meet our legal and professional obligations.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where needed with service providers who help us run the business, including our online booking and payment provider (Fresha), website hosting and email providers, and advertising and analytics providers such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google. These providers may store data on servers outside New Zealand, and we take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it. We may also disclose information where required by law, to prevent a serious threat to someone’s health or safety, or with your consent.
6. Health information
Health information is sensitive. We collect it only so your therapist can treat you safely, we limit access to those who need it, and we do not use it for marketing. Providing it is voluntary, but we may be unable to treat you safely without it.
7. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember preferences and understand how visitors use it. We use the Meta Pixel and Google tools (such as Google Analytics) to measure how our website and ads perform and to show our ads to people who may be interested in them. When you submit a form or make a booking or purchase on our website, the Meta Pixel may collect contact details you enter, such as your email address, phone number or name. These are hashed (converted into a coded form) before being sent to Meta, which uses them to match your visit to your Meta account for ad measurement and delivery. We do not knowingly send health or treatment-related information to these tools. Third-party features such as embedded booking, social media links and the WhatsApp chat button may also set their own cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, change your ad preferences in your Facebook and Google account settings, or contact us to opt out. Some site features may not work properly if cookies are blocked.
8. Storage, security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including password-protected systems and limited staff access. We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, then delete or de-identify it. No online system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you and to ask us to correct it. To do so, or to ask us to stop sending marketing, contact us using the details above. We will respond within 20 working days.
10. Complaints and changes
If you have a concern about how we handle your information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz or 0800 803 909. We may update this policy from time to time; the latest version will always be on this page with its “last updated” date.
